About Kenedy Housing Authority

The Kenedy Housing Authority was built in 1956 and has been providing affordable housing since that time. We own properties in Kenedy and Karnes City. In addition we oversee a Housing Choice Voucher program, allowing families in our community to rent homes from landlords.

Our units are offered to eligible/qualified families off of a waiting list. An application must be submitted, processed and approved before an offer will be made to a family.

We have 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom rental units. All 2, 3 and 4 bedroom units have central air-conditioning and heat. All units come equipped with a stove and refrigerator and washer/dryer hook-ups.
